Co-Founders Ja-Shin Tsang and Tobin Schwaiger-Hastanan created Yumalicious because we wanted a forum – a home – to brag about what we made.

We shared our creations on Facebook but knew it wasn't the right outlet; our photos would just get lost in the shuffle of birthday and vacation photos. So we figured, let's welcome other like-minded amateur chefs into our home and give everyone bragging rights. After all, we knew so many people who shared our love of cooking, baking and showing off, and thought it'd be nice to create a fabulous virtual feast with our talented friends.
